Résoudre dans R2\mathbb{R}^2 le système

(S) : {2x+3y=1−4x+y=−9(S)~:~\left\{\begin{matrix} 2x+3y=1 \\ -4x+y=-9 \end{matrix}\right.

Pour le système

(S) : {2x+3y=1−4x+y=−9(S)~:~\left\{\begin{matrix} 2x+3y=1 \\ -4x+y=-9 \end{matrix}\right.

On a

  D=∣23−41∣=2×1−(−4)×3=14~~ \begin{align*} D &=\left|\begin{matrix} 2&3 \\ -4 &1 \end{matrix}\right| \\ &=2\times1-(-4)\times3 \\ &=14 \end{align*}

Comme D≠0D\ne0, alors le système (S)(S) admet une seule solution.

Dx=∣13−91∣=1×1−(−9)×3=28\begin{align*} D_x &=\left|\begin{matrix} 1&3 \\ -9 &1 \end{matrix}\right| \\ &=1\times1-(-9)\times3 \\ &=28 \end{align*}
  Dy=∣21−4−9∣=2×(−9)−(−4)×1=−14\begin{align*} ~~ D_y&=\left|\begin{matrix} 2&1 \\ -4 &-9 \end{matrix}\right| \\ &=2\times(-9)-(-4)\times1 \\ &=-14 \end{align*}
x=DxD=2814=2    et   y=DyD=−1414=−1x=\dfrac{D_x}{D}=\dfrac{28}{14}=2~~~\text{ et }~~y=\dfrac{D_y}{D}=\dfrac{-14}{14}=-1

et donc la solution du système (S)(S) est le couple (2;−1)(2;-1)

Par suite l’ensemble des solutions du système (S)(S) est :
