Exercice 1 (3 points)

Dans l'espace rapporté à un repère orthonormé direct (O,i⃗,j⃗,k⃗)(O, \vec{i}, \vec{j}, \vec{k}), on considère les points A(−1,0,1)A(-1, 0, 1), B(−3,2,2)B(-3, 2, 2), C(−1,1,2)C(-1, 1, 2) et D(2,7,−4)D(2, 7, -4).

1.a. Montrer que AB→∧AC→=i⃗+2j⃗−2k⃗\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} = \vec{i} + 2\vec{j} - 2\vec{k}

Afficher la correction

on a : AB→(−221)\quad\overrightarrow{AB}\begin{pmatrix} -2 \\ 2 \\ 1 \end{pmatrix} \quad et AC→(011)\quad \overrightarrow{AC}\begin{pmatrix} 0 \\ 1 \\ 1 \end{pmatrix}

Donc :

AB→∧AC→=∣2111∣i⃗−∣−2011∣j⃗+∣−2021∣k⃗=(2−1)i⃗−(−2−0)j⃗+(−2−0)k⃗=i⃗+2j⃗−2k⃗\begin{aligned} \overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} &= \begin{vmatrix} 2 & 1 \\ 1 & 1 \end{vmatrix} \vec{i} - \begin{vmatrix} -2 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 \end{vmatrix} \vec{j} + \begin{vmatrix} -2 & 0 \\ 2 & 1 \end{vmatrix} \vec{k} \\ &= (2 - 1)\vec{i} - (-2 - 0)\vec{j} + (-2 - 0)\vec{k} \\ &= \vec{i} + 2\vec{j} - 2\vec{k} \end{aligned}

1.b. Déduire que x+2y−2z+3=0x + 2y - 2z + 3 = 0 est une équation cartésienne du plan (ABC)(ABC)

Afficher la correction

Méthode 1

On a AB→∧AC→≠0⃗\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} \ne \vec{0}

donc (ABC)(ABC) est un plan de vecteur normal AB→∧AC→(12−2)\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ -2 \end{pmatrix}

M(x,y,z)∈(ABC)  ⟺  AM→⋅(AB→∧AC→)=0  ⟺  (x+1y−0z−1)⋅(12−2)=0  ⟺  x+1+2y−2(z−1)=0  ⟺  x+2y−2z+3=0\begin{aligned} &M(x,y,z)\in(ABC) \\ & \iff \overrightarrow{AM}\cdot(\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC})=0 \\ &\iff \begin{pmatrix} x+1 \\ y-0 \\ z-1 \end{pmatrix} \cdot \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ -2 \end{pmatrix} =0 \\ &\iff x+1+2y-2(z-1)=0 \\ &\iff x+2y-2z+3=0 \end{aligned}

Alors

(ABC) : x+2y−2z+d=0(ABC) \ : \ x+2y-2z+d=0

(ABC) : ax+by+cz+d=0(ABC) \ : \ ax+by+cz+d=0

on a AB→∧AC→(12−2)\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ -2 \end{pmatrix} est un vecteur noramal à (ABC)(ABC) donc on prned : a=1, b=2 et c=−2a=1, \ b=2 \text{ et } c=-2

(ABC) : x+2y−2z+d=0(ABC) \ : \ x+2y-2z+d=0

comme A(1,0,−1)∈(ABC)A(1,0,-1)\in(ABC), alors :

xA+2yA−2zA+d=0  ⟹  1+0−2×(−1)+d=0  ⟹  d=3\begin{aligned} &x_A+2y_A-2z_A+d=0 \\ &\implies 1+0-2\times(-1)+d=0 \\ &\implies d=3 \end{aligned}

Alors

(ABC) : x+2y−2z+d=0(ABC) \ : \ x+2y-2z+d=0

On a : u⃗(212)\vec{u} \begin{pmatrix} 2 \\ 1 \\ 2 \end{pmatrix} et AB→∧AC→(12−2)\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ -2 \end{pmatrix}

Donc :

u⃗⋅(AB→∧AC→)=2×1+1×2+2×(−2)=2+2−4=0\begin{aligned} \vec{u} \cdot (\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC}) &= 2 \times 1 + 1 \times 2 + 2 \times (-2) \\ &= 2 + 2 - 4 \\ &= 0 \end{aligned}

donc u⃗⊥(AB→∧AC→)\vec{u}\perp (\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC})

et on a u⃗∥(Δ)\vec{u} \parallel (\Delta) et (AB→∧AC→)⊥(ABC)(\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC})\perp (ABC)

Alors (Δ)∥(ABC)(\Delta)\parallel (ABC)

  1. Soit (S)(S) la sphère de centre Ω(0,3,0)\Omega(0, 3, 0) et tangente à la droite (Δ)(\Delta).

ΩD→(2−07−3−4−0)donc : ΩD→(24−4)\quad \overrightarrow{\Omega D} \begin{pmatrix} 2 - 0 \\ 7 - 3 \\ -4 - 0 \end{pmatrix} \qquad \text{donc : }\quad \overrightarrow{\Omega D}\begin{pmatrix} 2 \\ 4 \\ -4 \end{pmatrix}

Et comme u⃗(212)\vec{u} \begin{pmatrix} 2 \\ 1 \\ 2 \end{pmatrix}, alors :

ΩD→⋅u⃗=2×2+4×1+(−4)×2=4+4−8=0\begin{aligned} \overrightarrow{\Omega D} \cdot \vec{u} &= 2 \times 2 + 4 \times 1 + (-4) \times 2 \\ &= 4 + 4 - 8 \\ &= 0 \end{aligned}

donc (ΩD)⊥(Δ)(\Omega D)\perp (\Delta)

R=ΩD=22+42+(−4)2=4+16+16=36=6\begin{aligned} R = \Omega D &= \sqrt{2^2 + 4^2 + (-4)^2} \\ &= \sqrt{4 + 16 + 16} \\ &= \sqrt{36} \\ &= 6 \end{aligned}

Donc : le rayon de la sphère (S)(S) est égal à 66

2.b. Calculer d(Ω,(ABC))d(\Omega, (ABC)) et déduire que (ABC)(ABC) coupe la sphère (S)(S) suivant un cercle (Γ)(\Gamma) de rayon r=33r = 3\sqrt{3}

Afficher la correction

On a Ω(0,3,0)\Omega(0, 3, 0) et le plan (ABC):x+2y−2z+3=0(ABC) : x + 2y - 2z + 3 = 0.

Donc :

d(Ω,(ABC))=∣0+2(3)−2(0)+3∣12+22+(−2)2=∣6+3∣1+4+4=99=93=3\begin{aligned} d(\Omega, (ABC)) &= \frac{|0 + 2(3) - 2(0) + 3|}{\sqrt{1^2 + 2^2 + (-2)^2}} \\ &= \frac{|6 + 3|}{\sqrt{1 + 4 + 4}} \\ &= \frac{9}{\sqrt{9}} \\ &= \frac{9}{3} = 3 \end{aligned}

Puisque d(Ω,(ABC))=3<Rd(\Omega, (ABC)) = 3 < R (où R=6R = 6), le plan (ABC)(ABC) coupe la sphère (S)(S) suivant un cercle (Γ)(\Gamma) de rayon rr :

r=R2−d2=62−32=36−9=27=33\begin{aligned} r &= \sqrt{R^2 - d^2} \\ &= \sqrt{6^2 - 3^2} \\ &= \sqrt{36 - 9} \\ &= \sqrt{27} \\ &= 3\sqrt{3} \end{aligned}

CΩ→(0−(−1)3−10−2)donc : CΩ→(12−2)\quad \overrightarrow{C\Omega} \begin{pmatrix} 0 - (-1) \\ 3 - 1 \\ 0 - 2 \end{pmatrix} \qquad \text{donc : }\quad \overrightarrow{C\Omega}\begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ -2 \end{pmatrix}

D'après la question 1.a, on a AB→∧AC→(12−2)\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC} \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ -2 \end{pmatrix}.

Donc : CΩ→=AB→∧AC→\overrightarrow{C\Omega} = \overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC}

on a (AB→∧AC→)⊥(ABC)(\overrightarrow{AB} \wedge \overrightarrow{AC}) \perp(ABC)

donc (CΩ)⊥(ABC)(C\Omega)\perp (ABC)
